It started with one question and two cups of coffee
It begun in 2016, when two passionate HR professionals sat down and asked a simple question: “Malaysia is home to many talented people whose potential has yet to be discovered by businesses around the world. How can we help more businesses grow successfully in Malaysia?”
The answer was not found in a complicated business plan or a room full of consultants. It began with practical HR experience, a shared belief in Malaysian talent and, most likely, more coffee than either of them would admit. They saw something important. Malaysia was home to capable, adaptable and multilingual professionals, yet many international companies were still looking elsewhere when building their teams. The talent was here. Businesses simply needed the right local partner to help them find, employ and support it properly.
From two HR professionals to a team of specialists
What began as a conversation between two people gradually grew into Peopleo, a close-knit team of experienced HR professionals.
We may not be the largest HR company in Malaysia. As a boutique HR company, we provide attentive, responsive and hands-on support. Our clients are not passed from one department to another or left waiting for an automated reply that almost answers the question.
They work with real HR professionals who understand their business, their employees and the local employment environment.
Our roots are in HR, and Malaysia is our home ground. We understand local employment requirements, payroll practices, statutory obligations and workplace expectations because this is what we work with every day.
